Jay Yadav, MD – Founder and CEO

Dr. Yadav has a long history of innovation and commercialization of novel technology focused on the development of new treatments for disease. Jay is an interventional cardiologist and founder of a number of successful companies: CardioMEMS acquired by St. Jude Medical; Angioguard, Inc. acquired by Johnson & Johnson; first investor and director of SMART Therapeutics acquired by Boston Scientific. Jay has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications, 2 books, and over 40 patents. Noah Roth- Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Roth previously served as Director of New Technology & Intellectual Property at Icon Interventional Systems, Inc. where he led the development of the MoRe proprietary alloy. Mr. Roth has over 20 years of Product Development experience, is the recipient of 24 patents, and is admitted to both the State Bar of Georgia and New Jersey. He began his medical device career with Micro Therapeutics, where he developed the first liquid embolic system (Onyx) for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, designed and developed micro catheters and compliant balloon systems for stent delivery, and designed and developed a self-expanding thin film stent system for the exclusion of vascular malformations. Mahesh Krishnan – Chief Commercial Officer

Mahesh Krishnan is a 25 year veteran of the healthcare industry. Prior to joining MiRus, he was the Vice President for building and growing the Orthopedic CT business in the US & Canada at Carestream Health. Mahesh has been the VP for Southeast area for spine business at Depuy Synthes (J&J) managing both direct and indirect channels, and leading the team to continued growth in consecutive years. In addition, Mahesh has diverse experience in several leadership roles; launched products as global marketing director at Philips, managed P&L as VP of eastern division at Alliance Healthcare, managed southeast sales operations of Philips imaging business, and managed sales in Latin America for Marconi Medical systems. Mahesh has a BS in EE from the University of Madras, India, MS in BME from the University of Kentucky, and MBA in finance from Case Western Reserve University.

David Toney – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Toney joined MiRus as CFO in February 2022.  Prior to joining MiRus, David served in Senior Financial and Operations roles for Mohawk (NYSE MHK) a building products company for 16 years. In addition, earlier in his career David served in various finance, accounting, and product marketing positions with a leading storage company, Seagate Technology (Nasdaq STX) and an Optical Router startup, Chiaro Networks.  David was recognized as the 2014 Finance Leader of the Year for Corporate Planning & Strategy from Georgia State University and he supports his local community and led Mohawk’s 2015 companywide United Way Campaign. David holds a MBA-Finance from Oklahoma City University, a BBA-Accounting from the University of Oklahoma, and passed the Certified Public Accountants exam.

Dennis Moreno- VP Manufacturing and Operations

September 7, 2021

Dennis Moreno brings over twenty years in engineering experience, he began by working on SpaceShipOne’s Hybrid Rocket Propulsion competition for the Ansari X-Prize held by Scaled Composite. Dennis has also competed in the hit tv show BattleBots. He then moved into the medical device space where’s he’s developed vascular catheters and pioneered NOTES instrumentation for non-invasive surgery. Prior to MiRus he served as the technical lead in upper extremity orthopedics at Skeletal Dynamics in Miami, FL. Dennis holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from FIU in Miami, FL.

Wayne Gray – VP of Engineering – Orthopaedics

Mr. Gray has 25+ years of experience in orthopedic, spine and extremity at Zimmer, Abbott, Exactech, and RTI with a demonstrated history of planning and implementing successful global research and development organizational strategies. His experience spans the entire spectrum from concept generation to product support in the field, post launch. He has expertise in budget management, program and portfolio management, design controls, IP generation, licensing and acquisition, and project team process experience with over 25 patents.  Mr. Gray earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas.

Jordan Bauman- VP Quality and Regulatory Affairs

Mr. Bauman has over ten years of global medical device experience focused on development, regulatory, reimbursement, and commercialization strategies for new cardiovascular, orthopedic, and spine products. This includes several successful US FDA regulatory submissions (510(k)’s, IDE’s, PMA’s) and EU filings (Technical Files, Design Dossiers), successful international clinical trial operations management and execution, and securing favorable reimbursement status for new medical technologies at the national coverage level. Mr. Bauman earned a BS in chemistry from Emory University and a BS in biomedical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a MS in regulatory science from Johns Hopkins University.

Pam Cowart, APRN, MSN – VP Clinical Affairs and Compliance

Mrs. Cowart is a seasoned clinical affairs specialist who followed a successful 25-year nursing career in cardiovascular care with 20 years in the medical device industry. She most recently served as Director of Heart Failure at CardioMEMS, Inc. where she was responsible for managing clinical trials, supporting product development, regulatory and commercialization strategies. Mrs. Cowart earned a BS in Nursing from Emory University and a MSN from Georgia State University.
