Jay Yadav, MD – Founder and CEO

Dr. Yadav has a long history of innovation and commercialization of novel technology focused on the development of new treatments for disease. Jay is an interventional cardiologist and founder of a number of successful companies: CardioMEMS acquired by St. Jude Medical; Angioguard, Inc. acquired by Johnson & Johnson; first investor and director of SMART Therapeutics acquired by Boston Scientific. Jay has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications, 2 books, and over 40 patents. Noah Roth- Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Roth previously served as Director of New Technology & Intellectual Property at Icon Interventional Systems, Inc. where he led the development of the MoRe proprietary alloy. Mr. Roth has over 20 years of Product Development experience, is the recipient of 24 patents, and is admitted to both the State Bar of Georgia and New Jersey. He began his medical device career with Micro Therapeutics, where he developed the first liquid embolic system (Onyx) for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, designed and developed micro catheters and compliant balloon systems for stent delivery, and designed and developed a self-expanding thin film stent system for the exclusion of vascular malformations. Mahesh Krishnan – Chief Commercial Officer

Mahesh Krishnan is a 25 year veteran of the healthcare industry. Prior to joining MiRus, he was the Vice President for building and growing the Orthopedic CT business in the US & Canada at Carestream Health. Mahesh has been the VP for Southeast area for spine business at Depuy Synthes (J&J) managing both direct and indirect channels, and leading the team to continued growth in consecutive years. In addition, Mahesh has diverse experience in several leadership roles; launched products as global marketing director at Philips, managed P&L as VP of eastern division at Alliance Healthcare, managed southeast sales operations of Philips imaging business, and managed sales in Latin America for Marconi Medical systems. Mahesh has a BS in EE from the University of Madras, India, MS in BME from the University of Kentucky, and MBA in finance from Case Western Reserve University.

Charlie Wing- Sr. VP R&D Spine & Orthopaedics

Mr. Wing is a development leader with over 30 years of experience in the Medical Device field with a focus in Spine, Trauma and Orthopedic Surgical Implant and Instrument development. Mr. Wing has gained international development experience having worked for 13 years at Aesculap AG in Tuttlingen, Germany and is also fluent in German as a result. Following his experience in Germany he worked at Aesculap in Center Valley, PA, directing a team that developed a number of spinal implants, including the first plasma sprayed Titanium coated PEEK cage in the US and Aesculap’s Posterior Cervical and VBR systems. He has presented at ASTM meetings on plasma spray coated PEEK and biomechanical test methods. His experience spans the entire spectrum from concept generation to product support in the field, post launch. He has expertise in budget management, program and portfolio management, design controls, IP generation, licensing and acquisition, and project team process experience with over 25 patents.  Mr. Gray earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas.

Jordan Bauman- VP Regulatory Affairs

Mr. Bauman has over ten years of global medical device experience focused on development, regulatory, reimbursement, and commercialization strategies for new cardiovascular, orthopedic, and spine products. This includes several successful US FDA regulatory submissions (510(k)’s, IDE’s, PMA’s) and EU filings (Technical Files, Design Dossiers), successful international clinical trial operations management and execution, and securing favorable reimbursement status for new medical technologies at the national coverage level. Mr. Bauman earned a BS in chemistry from Emory University and a BS in biomedical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a MS in regulatory science from Johns Hopkins University.

Pam Cowart, APRN, MSN – VP Clinical Affairs and Compliance

Mrs. Cowart is a seasoned clinical affairs specialist who followed a successful 25-year nursing career in cardiovascular care with 15 years in the medical device industry. She most recently served as Director of Heart Failure at CardioMEMS, Inc. where she was responsible for managing clinical trials, supporting product development, regulatory and commercialization strategies. Mrs. Cowart earned a BS in Nursing from Emory University and a MSN from Georgia State University.

Mark Faucett – VP of Business Development

Mark Faucett brings over 30 years of experience successfully growing sales teams by pairing proven leadership achievements in the medical device space with the ability to form key partnerships, developing high performing teams, and creating compelling sales strategies in solution-oriented environments. Prior to joining MiRus, he served as founder and CEO of Capital Surgical Solutions, a medical device distributorship. Mr. Faucett has served as National Vice President of Sales for the Orthofix Bone-Growth Stimulator Division, Regional Vice President of Sales for Medtronic in their Spine & Biologics Division, and as Regional Vice President of Sales for Smith & Nephew in their Endoscopy Division. He also served on the Executive Board of Directors for Prep Tech Medical, LLC, overseeing sales and business development. Mr. Faucett received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing Management from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Daniel Burnham – Director of Software Systems

Prior to joining MiRus, Daniel worked at medical device companies including Medtronic, and St. Jude Medical where he was involved in bringing devices from concept development to commercialization. As an engineer passionate about ground-breaking medical technologies and solving difficult problems, he has worked on the electrical and software design, algorithm development, and systems integration of products in a variety of fields including wearable devices, implantable devices and optical tracking systems. At MiRus, Daniel is the Director of Software Systems leading a team for the development of procedural solutions. Mr. Burnham holds a bachelors in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in BioEngineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
